UZIMON is the self proclaimed, human gun whose lyrics are considered the deadliest and illest in the reggae game and while this is nothing new with likes of Snow and Big Mountain leading the charge of white Reggae toasters, UZIMON is somewhat of another creature. For one his origins are shrouded by mystery and a big cloud of ganja that follows him…cough, cough!

Back to what I said earlier, what sets UZIMON from the aforementioned is that he knows that he is taking the piss out of the reggae genre and he plays it with a hint of sarcasm and humorous wit all the while making you shake your funny bone as well as that funky backbone of yours and ladies……he will make you pregnant, guaranteed!

With a backing band featuring Phil Moffa of Vinyl Life fame, UZIMON is set to conquer the world of Reggae because Jamaica is in his heart.

Pussy Weapon is his brand new album which drops on  oct 1st and so we had to get into that puff of ganja smoke to talk to revolutionary militant UZIMON!

Easy now UZIMON and thanks for doing this interview with Nerdy Frames, so tell us about yourself UZIMON like who are you and where are you from?

I am the greatest reggae artist in the whole world and I come from Gods vagina.

What are the best things in life that you enjoy besides a good spliff?

Having my balls cupped by a menagerie of concubines while my music plays sweetly in the background.

Describe the overall sound of UZIMON?

Its very influenced by the greats, like UZIMON. Its like having angels piss in your eardrums.

Whats being the reaction from fans and people who have been touched the UZIMON music experience?

Many women want me to get them pregnant. many men want me to get their women pregnant. many gay men want me to get one of their friends pregnant so they can raise my seed. many animals also request like Goat and Salamander but me nah ramp with beastialism.

Where does it start with songwriting and coming up with ideas for tunes? I mean you wrote a song about your favorite martial artist cum, action star Steven Seagal?

Ideas are everywhere. I once wrote a 7 hour tune about the word “the”. inspiration is everywhere ya just haffi look for it. and know where fe find it.

How deadly are your lyrics?

I’ll put it this way: when I sing inna de air, NORAD gets notified and sattelietes fall from the sky. The CIA has commissioned me to write chunes for them in their effort to fight terrorizers. if i accidentally rhyme in a sentence when just speaking, people have been known to die.

I’ve seen some of your vids on Youtube including Knowledge College and that news segment where you pointed out Jamaica, ever thought about dominating the world of Youtube?

I already have and already do.

Who are some of your personal influences/inspirations UZIMON and what Album/Bands/Act/etc did you listen to when you were young?

I recorded my lyrics on tapes as yute and played them back and that influenced me. also all the great foundation artists. Yellowman, Sugar Minott, U-Roy, Rolfe from Muppet show, etc. all the Jamaican greats.

Lets get to the meat and talk about your album Pussy Weapon, interesting title for a album. Tell us about it such as how long it took to make and who is featured on it?

I am featured on it. Its just another piece of the uzimon puzzle. we have some cris artists like Adrienne Mack Davis, and Phaze Future. But mostly I am featured on it because it is my record. when one records their own record, they must feature themselves as a way of being wicked.

Ever thought about coming to New Zealand UZIMON? We have enough green here for you to smoke up and we got a regular reggae festival due to NZ having a huge reggae and dub fanbase per capita, something about Bob Marley and Kiwis.

Bring me down deya! Me love it! me wan slay come kiwi! and fe de record, all the jokes Aussies make about you arent true. me know dis. like the ting about how you are all born out of anuses. thats impossible so me know them aussies are liars.
