‘New Lands’ is one of the many highlights from ‘AVD’, and one of the most nakedly rocking moments from the band yet – sure to set the Festival stages ablaze this summer! The opening pin wheeling riffs, and pistoning drums are paired with the yearning vocals of Morgan Phalen of NYC’s Diamond Nights to unforgettable effect.

Giving the remix colorful, unforgettable paint jobs – DJ Falcon, A-Trak and SebastiAn. One half of Duck Sauce – A-Trak, pulls into action with a burst of jungle drums, “hey” vocal snaps, raw unabashed synths, a crowd sing-a-long moment followed by a strobe-lit, roof punching breakdown. SebastiAn supplants a dark, sinister hip hop vibe that will go off like fireworks while DJ Falcon turns the track with the use of celestial, surf city grooves and washed out synths that take you into a dreamlike world full of awe and amaze.

Following the launch of ‘Audio, Video, Disco.’ their epic follow up to 2007′s Grammy nominated ‘†’, and of the back of the World Tour, Justice get ready for UK festival season by announcing their new single ‘New Lands’, released on the 25th June on Ed Banger / Because Music.

Having defined an era with their dantean live show for † which saw the duo creating an electronic storm from behind a wall of Marshall amps and their iconic glowing crucifix, these 2012 festival shows see Xavier and Gaspard once more return to the UK shores following their megalithic sold out Brixton Academy show:

Xavier explains: “The live show makes the two albums coexist as one big piece, AVD takes † into another dimension and vice versa – twice more songs, thrice more fun”.
