Scuola Furano‘s new album 108 is the result of his lifelong love-affair with classic sounds of the past, but seen through his unique, forward-thinking lense. He doesn’t play disco like Larry Levan, he doesn’t make house like Todd Terry, and he doesn’t do electro-dance like Daft Punk. Yet he loves them all equally. And unconditionally. Scuola Furano is a digital soul whose shiny disco heart beats for house music. After the Max Power EP on Mantra Vibes, and the Tribute EP in 2010 through our friends at LaValigetta Records Scuola Furano is ready with a new album: 108.
The result of his lifelong love-affair with classic sounds of the past, but seen through his unique, forward-thinking lense. It features house songs with vocals by Fiorious, Xander Ferreira, Jolie Cherie and Kelly as well as some dancefloor essential dubby house tracks. The album will be released by italian prestigious label Nano Rec, runned by DJ Spiller.
Press: Scuola Furano discussed his vision in music, the makin of the album, the videoclip and the collaboration with Nano Rec on an interview with WIRED‘s website and with a 3 pages interview on June’s issue of DJ Mag Italy!
