Machine Gun Kelly Premieres ‘Wild Boy’
Music Video on BET’S 106 and Park
Performs ‘Wild Boy’ Live for BET Audience
Cleveland, Ohio artist Machine Gun Kelly takes over BET’s 106 and Park today (BET at 6pm EST) with label head Diddy to premiere his ‘Wild Boy’ music video that features Waka Flocka. MGK will perform the song live for the 106 and Park audience and interview about signing with Bad Boy and his upcoming debut Bad Boy/Interscope album Lace Up. The ‘Wild Boy’ music video has received over 10 million hits online.
The video, directed by Spliff TV, shows MGK at his girlfriend’s house having dinner with her parents along with the song’s featured artist Waka Flocka. During dinner, the girl’s parents ask Waka Flocka what he “does for a living,” and the two animated artists answer with a wild warehouse performance of ‘Wild Boy’ where stage diving, bonfires, Steve-O references and partying madness ensues.
Earlier this week MGK set the internet ablaze with an inspirational heartfelt video about Ryan Yex, a 17-year old MGK fan born with cerebral palsy, that took his very first steps on-stage with MGK at a Cleveland concert. Ryan said MGK’s against all odds story and ‘Lace Up’ life motto gave him the strength and courage to take the first steps at the MGK show after going through months of therapy. Cleveland’s Fox 8 covered the amazing story.
Machine Gun Kelly’s rapid, ravenous, and raucous flow has made him one of the most intense and infectious new artists in music. He was the first rapper in history to win the Apollo’s Amateur Night competition, and has garnered a bevy of acclaim locally and nationally, developing a devout and rabid following in the process. His major label debut Lace Up will release 2012.
